Religious Education
The Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine's Religious Education program welcomes children in Grades 1-8 for religious instruction and sacramental formation. We offer programs to accommodate the differing needs of our Parish families.
The children of our Parish are expected to receive religious instruction each year beginning in the 1st grade and continuing through the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 8th grade.
Our program is designed to help families grow in a relationship of love and discipleship with Jesus Christ and to express their identity as Domestic Church.
Initial Requirements for Participation
- Families must be currently registered parishioners of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine. New families must be registered as St. Robert's parishioners by Dec. 31st of the year prior to our summer session to be eligible to enroll for our June, July, and August classes.
- The families of children baptized at parishes other than the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine must provide a baptismal certificate at the time of registration for each child.
- Families transferring into our program from another Religious Education program must provide a letter of transfer from the parish they are leaving at the time of registration for each child.
- Children who have missed any time in Religious Education may be asked to complete the years missed regardless of current school grade or to complete a written assessment so they may be properly placed in the program based on their current understanding of the Catholic faith.
- All families must sign up for our FLOCKNOTE communication system. This is mandatory for enrollment.
