Confirmation

When we are baptized, we are "claimed for Christ our savior." Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, the Holy Spirit comes to us in a special way to unite us more closely to Jesus and His Church and to strengthen us as Christ’s witnesses in the world. By entering into deeper relationship with Jesus through the grace of the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to become ever more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Confirmation is an opportunity for us to say “yes” to the promises made for us by others in the sacrament of Baptism, and to share more fully in the mission of Jesus Christ and His Church.

The Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, through its Religious Education Office, partners with parents in forming their children as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ and preparing them to live in the Christian Community of faith, demonstrating and professing the Lord's presence and salvation to the world by their personal witness.
We thank you for trusting us to accompany you and your children at this special moment of grace and allowing us to assist and support you in preparing your children in faith for the reception of the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation.
